We currently have an open position for a Sr. Consulting Engineer.

The Senior Consulting Engineer is a key role to ensure TachTech’s continued growth and trusted reputation. This role offers a clear path to leadership opportunities in the company. The Senior Consulting Engineer will build strategic value by driving TachTech’s services portfolio into a mature platform operationalized for scale to deliver managed and professional services. In addition to these strategic developments, the Senior Consulting Engineer will perform the day-to-day tactical responsibilities required meet and scale the sales/services engineering demands of the business.
This role has main responsibilities that include, but may not be limited to:
Establish themselves as trusted expert and thought leader in one of the following domains with a strong understanding in the others.
Secure DevOps
Cloud
Networking
Develop high-trust relationships with the internal team, clients, and partners by making and fulfilling key commitments, demonstrating responsiveness, and managing expectations with care.
Learn, collaborate, and evolve to continually improve on TachTech’s “on TRACK” culture (Trust. Responsive. Authentic. Community. Knowledge.)
Execute on delivering TachTech’s security solutions architecture in the marketplace to penetrate new accounts, grow existing client business, and gain valuable feedback required to help evolve our strategy.
Grow the Professional and Managed Services catalogue, processes, and related collateral in coordination with TachTech’s top executives and sales team.
Execute and continuously improve TachTech’s managed services strategic plan and platform.
Display leadership on product/service integrations for TachTech and key partners.
Focus on performing sales/services engineering functions for both pre- and post-sales with the goal of funding your initial position through billable hours until revenue, service pipeline, and strategic plan support your migration from more tactical to more strategic work.
Execute on assessments, POCs, and training programs that demonstrate the value of TachTech and partner solutions.
Help build, validate, and present SOWs and BOMs.
Gain and adapt knowledge of key networking, cloud, or security solutions to ensure effective guidance to clients in adopting the best solution to meet their requirements.
Fulfill vendor training and certification requirements as needed.
Maintain excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Candidate should have the following:
10 years or more of information security experience in either a sales engineer or service delivery role or a combination of both
B.S Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field of study. A combination of experience and certifications may waive this requirement on a one-by-one review basis
CISSP, OSCP, CEH, AWS/GCP professional architect, CCIE/JNCIE, or other networking, cloud, or security-based certifications are desired (TachTech willing to sponsor)
